From its humble beginnings as a barn (and also a brothel if rumours are to be believed) the historic back room at The Railway has, over the years, played host to some of the greatest names in modern music. Equipped with a top-spec PA and lighting rig, this underground venue is the perfect environment to experience live music of any genre – while the newly opened upstairs venue ’The Attic’ has been specifically designed for acoustic acts and small private gatherings. If this wasn’t enough, we are also home to a quality bar, serving a wide range of local ales and quality wines. The Railway has ample free parking and is situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from Winchester Railway Station.
